The Missus’ birthday lunch was at our favourite pizza joint in Delhi 28 Capri Italy.

We had the lovely Spinach Dip, Meatball Pizza and Sicilia Pizza.

The hot and creamy Spinach Dip with crunchy toast on a rainy afternoon was just the perfect start. Had it been at home, the bowl would have been squeaky clean 😎.

The Caesar Salad on the other hand was an absolute wimp, having neither crunch nor taste. It could have been avoided.

Their pizzas as usual stood out and provided a sense of satisfaction that all is still well in this old joint. Especially the Sicilia, it was a burst of flavours. Totally loved it.

And how else could this meal have been finished — Caramel Custard and black coffee 😊

That mixture of hot sambar and cold coconut chutney is my happy space!

But the best thing we had so far in Chennai has to be the Sweet Pongal at Murugan Idli shop! Just perfect!!

And 4 Chai, 2 Fine Biscuits, 2 Samosas, 1 Egg Puff cost less than ₹100! 😱

Nagaland’s Kitchen, Delhi

Had one of the amazingly simple and flavorful lunch in a long time and yet feeling a lot lighter after all of this! .

They did not skimp on the meat in the Momos. Look at their size!

The Naga Thali was a nice introduction to the variety on offer. As I mentioned before, super light and healthy. The Raja Mirch extra spicy chicken was not that spicy for us. The chutneys in our house are at times spicier than this 😜.

Overall a must try place!

Along with the lunch we had some Korean Rice Beer. Tried it for the first time and super liked it. A very summery drink with very little fizz and full of flavor!

Love the fact that @theartful_baker is open at 7 in the morning (a rare event among Delhi shops) with oven fresh goodies!!

Met @f2000560 for coffee yesterday and we tried @bluetokaicoffee’s cold brew for the first time. Not my preferred way of drinking coffee.

But the American Grilled Cheese sandwich from @bigfatsandwichindia was 👌!!

Aslam’s Butter Chicken

All the idea of restaurant hopping in the Matia Mahal area for Iftaar delicacies, went out of the window with this one dish at Aslam’s Butter Chicken. Whatay decadence of a dish!.

PS: Not exactly, we still squeezed in some Lassi, Rabri and Mango ice cream :)

Yum Yum Cha, Saket Select Citywalk

Tonight’s dinner at Yum Yum Cha.

The Sushi 🍣 was OK. The rice in the Sushi could have been more flavourful!

The soup and the meat in Cha Su Ramen were really good, but the noodle was an absolute let down. Felt like regular egg noddles were served!
