Turn on Colour Filters, then choose the look you want at night.
03Turn it on at sunsetCreate your evening automation+
Open Shortcuts, then:
- Open Automation, then tap New Automation or +.
- Choose Time of Day, then Sunset.
- Choose Run Immediately and turn off notifications.
Set the sunset trigger
- Tap Next, then Create New.
- Search for Colour and select Set Colour Filters.
- Leave it set to Turn Colour Filters On, then tap the checkmark.

Create a second automation by repeating the process.
- Select Sunrise.
- Choose Run Immediately.
- Add Set Colour Filters.
- Change On to Off.
- Save.

On Samsung Galaxy:
Samsung previously called this Bedtime mode or Wind Down.
03Schedule grayscaleChoose when colour should disappear+
- Turn on Bedtime mode.
- Set bedtime and wake-up times, or choose Turn on while charging.
- Tap Customize → Screen options at bedtime.
- Turn on Grayscale.
- Tap When to start this mode → Sleep schedule.
- Set sleep and wake times, then save.
- Under additional actions, turn on Grayscale.
- Optionally add Do Not Disturb or Eye comfort shield.
04Set your quick overrideMake colour easy to restore temporarily+
Swipe down twice for Quick Settings. Add the Bedtime mode tile if needed. Tap it whenever you need colour back temporarily.
Use the Modes Quick Settings tile, or open Modes and Routines → Sleep and tap Turn off.
